Lessons

Horseback riding offers more than just time in the saddle—it builds strength, balance, and coordination, while also supporting mental well-being through connection, focus, and time spent outdoors.

At Caeco Ranch, we offer lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels, from young beginners to adults returning to the sport. Our program is designed to develop confident, well-rounded pleasure riders with a strong understanding of horsemanship, including horse care, tack knowledge, and safe, respectful trail riding.

Lessons are taught by both Bailee and Shannon, with Bailee leading the majority of the program. With extensive experience across multiple disciplines in the show world—including rodeo, western and English classes, and cowboy challenge—Bailee brings a versatile, well-rounded approach to instruction. No matter your discipline or goals, the focus remains on building a strong foundation that translates across all areas of riding.

Lessons are offered in blocks of six, allowing riders to build consistency, track progress, and develop real confidence over time. The goal of the first block is to establish a solid foundation—covering safety, basic riding position, control at the walk and trot, understanding your horse, and becoming comfortable and confident in the saddle.

We offer both private and group lessons and are very flexible with scheduling to fit your routine. Riders are welcome to bring their own horses, and we also have a reliable string of well-trained horses available for those who need them.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
